MATES Inc. is a boutique digital agency that specialises in outdoor and consumer sports campaigns. We are currently looking for a Junior Content Manager for a new project with a leading online sports brand. 

Our client develops professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive. With experience from the world’s harshest environments, they have developed a long list of first-to-market innovations, contributing to their position as a leader in technical sailing, performance ski apparel, and premium workwear categories.

About the role:

You will coordinate the creation of  landing pages, product pages and blog posts for this sports brands international ecommerce portal. Your job will be to work with internal stakeholders to understand the correct user and company requirements for each page. You will learn to create wireframe mockups and source the required content from copywriters, design and development teams before creating the page from components in Adobe Experience Manager. You will work with translators to make sure the page appears correctly in each region and SEO specialists to ensure its optimisation. Finally you will present the results to senior management for review. 

Responsibilities:
  • Working with a diverse group of stakeholders, such as product teams, design system teams, copywriters and project managers to understand the requirements
  • Clearly and effectively communicating design requirements with the visual design team
  • Designing wireframes and building pages in Adobe Experience Manager 
  • Present results to senior management
Essential experience/skills:
  • University Degree in Content/UX or
  • Minimum of 1-Year Work experience in a CM/UX role (Agency, Web Team, Ecommerce) or
  • Background or Training in UX
  • Experience handling complex projects
  • Experience handling complex projects
  • Excellent time management
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good written English
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience with Adobe XD and Design Systems
  • Understanding of UX – Ability to create wireframes 
Contract terms:
  • 3-6 months internship with possibility of extension into full-time role
  • Job location in Portimao, Portugal  (we can help to find accommodation if needed)
  • You must provide your own laptop/computer to work on
  • Start Date as soon as possible
  • Salary: €1200 p/m
