We are a collective of people that, first and foremost, are friends. In fact, we enjoyed spending time together so much that we decided to make it a full-time job. Our relationship with each other is what makes our work special. We’re comfortable enough to challenge each other and aren’t afraid to admit when we’re wrong.

All of our team members love what they do. As well as passion, each brings a broad range of skills and multiple years of industry experience. This agile, cross functional approach enables us to offer a full range of services from conception to completion.

Jack Reeves

Digital Director

Jack comes from a multi-disciplinary background, combining more than 10 years of design, brand, strategy and marketing experience across a diverse client roster including, TELUS, Helly Hansen, Oakley, SAXX Underwear and the World Snowboard Tour.

He has extensive experience managing cross functional AGILE/KANBAN teams and executing big budget brand marketing campaigns.

Andy Juegelt, Director Digital Strategy, MATES Munich

Andy Juegelt

Strategy Director

Andy is responsible for the big picture and ensures alignment between the strategic and the operational level. He helps develop innovative business plans and marketing concepts. This often involves working with senior management push digital transformation or with sales, advertising, and product development teams to create a working budget.

With over 12 years of experience in data-driven marketing, project management, business and strategy consulting, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He is combining insights from corporations such as the BMW Group with his own entrepreneurial know-how and the latest technology trends from some of Germany’s startup ecosystem.

Moritz Born

Marketing Director

Moritz combines experience in digital, passion for design and knowledge of marketing to create digital marketing strategies and implement innovative campaigns.

He has implemented a global digital marketing strategy for the World Snowboard Tour, launched sponsorship activations with brands such as Nike, Burton and Oakley, and helped startups find successful marketing strategies.

James Sanderson

Art Director

James has over 14 years experience working across branding, print and digital projects. His passion for making assets look great, while considering marketing messages and digital usability make him invaluable to the Mates crew.

Hannah Reeves

Head of HR

Hannah has extensive experience in human resources, recruitment, project and operations management. Working with people in a positive but challenging environment is what she enjoys the most. Her believe is that employees are by far the most valuable resource and only if this resource works optimally can a company succeed as a whole.

Joshua Holmes

Designer

Josh ads his magic to anything from logos, web design to ad campaigns and type design. Specialising in branding, print, advertising and art direction. Josh has spent a number of years working in the middle east on regional, national and international campaigns for some of the regions most recognised companies.
